The hoop is formed from S999 fine silver and then plated, so the surface stays bright while the earring itself stays almost weightless: 1.5 g for the pair. The hollow interior is what gives the drop its volume without the drag of solid metal.
A lever-back hinge closes behind the lobe and holds the drop in place through a full day — no slipping forward when you lean over a desk.
